Newly installed chandelier is making a buzzing noise when turned on.
I just replace the chandelier in my dining room and now the new lighting fixture makes a high pitched buzzing or humming noise when turned on. The fixture is on the same dimmer switch as the old one which did not make any noises.

Any clue what this may be?

    Thanks

That is very possible although the documentation on the new fixture indicated that standard 60w incandescent bulbs be used; which is what I am using. I'm wondering now if maybe I should try a different type of bulb.

    Thoughts?

We just moved into a home. We did have a home inspection. They didn't say anything about electrical problems. However, we have our boys in a room that has a ceiling fan. My air conditioner all of a sudden started making a loud noise when it turns on. The noise continues while the A/C is running. When the A/C cuts off it sounds almost like the fan needs to be oiled. It sort of makes a loud noise when the fan is cutting off like a slow clinking while it is cutting...

AC Buzzing noise [ 1 Answers ]

My 2-yr old 12,000 BTU Friedrich wall AC unit started making a very loud buzzing noise recently. The noise does not occur in the "fan-only" mode, but starts about 1 minute after the AC is turned on. The noise is louder inside the house than outside the house, and seems more "electrical" in nature...
