I have been conditionally discharged of a charge in canada will it stop me from entering the states via plane? I have met all conditions

Do you plan on meeting all of the conditions, how long did you have to meet the conditions. Most likely you can travel now, but if you don't complete all your conditions, you will end up with a warrant out on you most likely

It has been 6 months siince I have met my condations

I don't know what "conditions" are... All I know is, if you're a convicted felon, they ain't going to let you in.

If you have a conditional discharge you are not a convicted felon, however with regard to entry into the US it depends on what the discharge was received for. If it had to do with drugs I am not sure I think you may still have a problem, if it was a summary conviction then you are most likely okay. You should probably check with US immigration to be sure.

I think you may be accurate in your assessment. I think you're wrong about what he should DO about it.

Once he's explained that he's a criminal of some sort to the immigration bureaucrat, I can promise you, the first words out of the bureaucrats mouth are going to be NO. He's not there to help the OP get in the country. He's there to keep people like him OUT. Whether he would be doing so legally, wouldn't even be an issue for him.

I think the OP should chance a plane ride.

True excon, I have heard that before as well. The only way to know for sure is to try and cross the border. If you live near the border it is probably worth a drive first to see what happens.

I went and got a criminal check came back clean, watch means the discharged is not on my record correct? I will be trying to go anyway thanks for feedback
