    Early termination lease agreement
    I leave in Florida /Orlando and my employee just transfer me to NY they give a letter where show that I need to move to NY, but my land lord said that on the lease agreement don’t have nothing that aloud me to move without penalty, my question is: If in Florida have any law that guaranteed me, the right to move when I have be transferred for my job to another city without be penalized??

    Nope. Except for military personnel, I don't know any state that allows for breaking a lease due to a relocation.

    Talk to your company. If they are forcing the relocation they may have a policy that will reimburse you for the penalty. If not, you have three choices:

    1) negotiate a buyout payment (generally 2-3 months rent)
    2) subket (if the lease allows)
    3) find someone the landlord approves to move in immediately after you leave so the landlord suffers no lease.

    Since Florida doesn't force the landlord to seek a new tenant, he can hold you on the hook for the remaining term of the lease,

    We live in Florida also and we have a clause that can be included in our monthly payment to be able to forfeit the lease for house purchase, loss of job, or job relocation. Also, if a tenant does not want the clause added all they have to do is talk to the management company and with a 30-day notice can relinquish the lease and forfeit the deposit.

    You might want to speak with the management company and offer them perhaps a full month's rent and forfeit of the deposit.

    But as for tenant's right on leaving because of job relocation, your job may offer the management (apartment) company a sum of money to release you or reimburse you for your expenses. Other than that, only military personal can truly leave without any circumstances by law!
