I am allergic to all! Antibiotics the one I have just taken is the last one on the list I have taken. It does not matter which one it is I have tried them all and they all give me a full body rash and swelling that usually puts me in hospital I just happen to take Ambrotose and am wondering if it will help cure or make me worse. That is my dilemma not that whether I am allergic or not that part is clear and the doctors have confirmed this sorry if this makes you mad I is not meant to:)

No one ever said I was mad, I am just trying to help.

It could be that the Ambrotose combined with the antibiotic is causing the reaction. There are so many antibiotics out there that no one is allergic to all of them.

May I ask why you are taking the antibiotics, as well as which one you are currently taking?

LOL, no problem, that's just my signature line showing my excitement about graduating nursing school. ;)

I don't know about the antibiotics in Australia, I wish I could help more there.

Have the doctors diagnosed WHY you keep experiencing cellulitis?

No I just seem to be one of those people that gets infections at the drop of a hat. You see I have Lichen Planis on my leg and have had it for over 20 years. It is down to a small patch on my left leg on the shin above my ankle this is the site of my latest infection but I have had other infections on my other leg elbow etc through other rashes or skin injuries. The Lichen Planis was to the point that it had almost disappeared but this latest infection has made it spread again very frustrating. I am only 45 with very sensitive skin with various rashes and skin conditons all over my body. Some have improved with Ambrotose but others still persist. Doctors get frustrated with me they just scratch their heads not knowing what to do next:rolleyes:
