    Pregnant and hours a day working
    I work retail and my boss has me working two days in a row working 11 hours. Can she do this?

    Being pregnant should not have special privileges attached to it. Unless you can show your boss a doctor's note saying you cannot physically do your job of standing (or working) for 11 hours, then you have no choice but to do this. Your boss should not have to endure any hardship due to your condition. You are the one who has the condition, not the company. If your company finds that you are unable to perform the duties you were hired to perform they just might decide to unhire you. Most pregnant women work as long as they physically can. I worked up until the final 2 weeks of my pregnancy. I've had friends who worked up until the day before they went into labor. It all boils down to what you can do physically.
