I recently had twins, who are now 8months. I recently started working out now for 3weeks. My stomach is hard at the top and I look like I'm 4months along. A friend of mine recently had surgery because she had a hernia that made her stomach look like a mountain when she did situps, mine doesn't , when I look down I see fat and I feel my stomach but it not hard as when I stand up. I did have a c section. What might be causing these issues. My stomach doesn't hurt or anything, but it does feel weird when I lay on my stomach, as if I'm laying on top of a pillow. My doctor did say I had fibroids when I was pregnant maybe that's what it is. Help. I also had my tubes tied, I thought maybe that's why its hard, right above my navel.

You should go back to your doctor and ask him to do and ultrasound. It is very possible that you have fibroid cysts. They don't go away in fact thy grow. Some times it takes awhile for the stomach muscles to get back in shape and I would imagine with twins it might take even longer. However, I would check into the situation and put your mind at rest.
