New puppy is not accepted by older dog
I have a five year old boxer and a 9 week old boxer. The older dog seems to not like the puppy. She attacks him, yet there are not marks on the puppy. The puppy yelps and whines but when we get the larger dog off him, he will to back to her. Is she just showing her dominance? Do you think she will hurt him. It sounds like she is killing him, yet there are not marks on the puppy. I am not sure how to handle this situation.
We did have a boxer older than Kismet (the five year old) and Kismet was always jumping on her back, she even ripped her ear. I kept them apart because Roxi was 10 years old when Kismet came to live with us and I did not want my older dog hurt.
Kismet is a good dog around the family. I got her when she was 2 1/2. She had been abused by her previous owners. She does not seem to play well with others.

I recently got a puppy, too. Your older pne is showing her dominance. She won't hurt him. Kismet is just not used to your pup and other dogs. She won't hurt the puppy, trust me. My bulldog did it to the puppy but she protected him, too.

I had the same situation and my older dog took a piece of the pups ear off when he got bit on the tail. I never left them alone together when I was not at home. So your pup could get hurt depending on your older boxer and how much he can take, but let's hope not. It took about 3 months and a few fights before the older dog accepted the pup, now they are really good together.

Yea, that pup thinks kismet is a big furry play toy for him. They will get used to each other eventually.

I have 3 german shephards 1 male 2 female, all of them are working lines which have high prey drives, high defense drives, a lot of dominence going on. I personally am the alpha of my pack and do not! Allow any fighting to go on. I will let them play but as soon as I see one dominating the other I right then let that one know I'm alpha not him or her. I do that by looking themstraight in the eye with a very firm no! After a bit they will catch on. You run the show not them. You have to establish your supierior. Not by being mean but firm and fair

Considering this thread is over a year old, I'm sure the OP has worked it out.
