    Transmission seems stuck in netural
    Transmission 1999 taurus actlike its stuck in netural, was driving down the road was taking off from a stop and the car would not go, the car will start in netural and park but won't in thr drive gears... thanks

    Was the car in gear when it stopped moving or is it just not going into gear, period? It could be something as simple as a bad shift cable or as serious as the tranny itself

    Manual transmission? Can not move stick from neutral to drive or to 1st gear? If so check the clutch pedal if it is low.. if so.. bring it up using your toes.
