    Legal timeframe for paying back credit card debt
    Does a creditor have a leag standing to bring suit against me to pay a debt where there has been no activity on the account for roughly 5 years

    Depends on where in the world you are located as the laws vary a great deal.

    My message was asking in regard to legal timeframe for a creditor bringing suit against me to repay credit card debt no activity on the account for 5 years

    My message was the legal timeframe a creditor has to bring a suit against me to repay credit card debt taking into account there has been no activity on the account for 5 years

    See Ben's response. It would appear that 5 years is still within the SOL.
