    Harbor Breeze Fan
I have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan that is only a few months old. The fan no longer works because the remote no longer turns it on and there is no manual control to turn it on. The remote actually appears to be working so I think the issue is in the fan iteself. The light on the remote comes on when the button is pressed. I have changed the battery in the remote, to no avail. We have changed out the wall switch, hoping that was the problem but it wasn't. Does anyone have any ideas?

First, check the frequency to make sure the fan and remote still match and it didn't get jostled out of place:

If the dip switches match, it's probably a receiver issue. Since the fan is so new, return it to the store.
