    Dishwasher no power
I have a Kenmore Ultra Dishwasher 66517514202 and it just completely stopped in the middle of a run. It is getting power to the appliance. I do not have a repair manual, where can I start to try and fix it?

Glad you confirmed power to the unit, that's step #1. Now confirm the power continues through the dishwasher wiring connected to the black and white from the panel. If there is still power them you need to remove the front panel to see if power reaches the timer and circuit controls. Back to you.

Well I'm sure Handyman's words of warning are very true. However, we have to assume the home owner is asking how to repair something prior to calling a pro. There are steps in this process that will require you to have live wires open to test them so you could get a shock or worse. We will try to avoid putting you in harms way. Do you know how to work around live wires and do you have a meter?

OK have you confirm that the power not only reaches the electrical box under the washer but is present in the black and white wires coming out of the box.

I am not sure exactly what you mean. The black and white were connected to the power line coming in which are obviously black and white, I guess the answer to that is yes.

On some newer dishwashers you can unplug from the wall. Plug in and out 5 times to reset
