    2004 Craftsman garden tractor 25 hp Kohler engine
    Before I purchase, has anyone experienced mechanical problems with Kohler engine?

    Kohler makes a good engine. However, anything that is man made has the possibility of giving problems. But for the most part, kohler seems to be there for the "long haul".

    I have a 2003 Craftsman Koehler Command 18.5 Twin hp 46 deck Riding Tractor and am looking to sell it. Can you tell me how much it is worth today?

Steering assy on Craftsman Garden Tractor [ 1 Answers ]

I have a Sears Garden Tractor Model # 917270821 with a broken steering assembly. The shaft appears broken right where it inserts into the shaft support. My problem is that I can't get the shaft out of the shaft support piece. How is this done? Thanks
