    Wiring surround sound
    Just wanted to find a way to mute my surround sound from receiver when I mute the TV sound, so everything will mute!

    You would have to have audio out from the TV, going to the receiver for this to work.

    I would guess that the audio from the receiver is much higher quality than that from the TV so you may give up some performance to accomplish this.

    I keep the volume level on the TV at zero, and if I want to mute, I just mute the receiver?
