    Bank levy
My bank accounts have all been levied (frozen) due to my wife's credit card account. Her name is on 2 of my checking accounts and now I can not have access to my money to pay for my bills and food to eat! What can I do? I have called the credit card company and told them of my situation and they do not care. I have a quarter of a million dollar loan with them that has not gone late ever, but will know due to my accounts being frozen. They do not care. What can I do? Thanks

It is going to take a while for you to get this straightened out, our legal system moves at a snails pace.

Every State differs in how they treat joint accounts with only one party on the judgment, what state are you in?

An even bigger question, did you know she was sued? If no, then I understand your position, but, if you knew she was being sued, didn't you expect this to happen?
