You probably need a key that is shaped similar to a cross.
    Xxxxxxxx
    Xxxxxxxx
    Xxxxxxxx
    Xx
    Xx
    Xxxx
    Xx

Something like that. And you can get one at most any lawn mower shop.
Well the picture didn't come out right, sorry.

Mowerman those checks look like my kindergarten report card, just pulling your chain. Yep, pretty much a standard old key at most mower shops and sometimes ACE.

Yes, most mower shops have boxes of old assorted keys check one out.
Also of course an entire new key and switch is not very high and is easy to replace

Well when I typed it, it was in the center of the window, and looked pretty good. Then it got messed up somehow. I will try again:

    xxxxxx
    xxxxxx x
    xxxxxxxxxxxxx
    xxxxxx x
    xxxxxx

    see how this one does.

Aggh, that one messed up too. Just go and get a "generic" mower key.

On the thought of replacing the switch, be very cautious and look at each male blade on the old switch and how each is labeled, the new one must match exactly to keep from ruining something. There will be any number of different switches available, you will be matching things such as "S, G,A, M, B, etc."
