Can playing a game really get a guy?
  I met a guy through mutual friends about 7 weeks ago. When we met, we were obviously mutually very attracted to each other. We hit it off and seemed to click very well. Soon after we met he moved 3 hours away for a job. We continued to talk on the phone, text and see each other most weekends. He kept saying that he thought it was worth it.. he seemed very excited.. said he missed me.. texted/called to say goodnight every night. Well, the last 2 times we saw each other we had sex. Since then, things seem to have cooled down a bit between us. I like him a lot. He does still call, just not as often and not as affectionate. I think that I've gotten a little awckward too, simply because I assumed we were in a relationship when I had sex with him and am now quite sure that I was wrong. I know that this guy is very shy and has been hurt very badly in a past relationship. I am not sure where to go from here. I feel pretty silly playing this game, but I have decided to not initiate any contact for awhile and see how he responds. I'm going to try to forget about him as best I can, but secretly hope that when he finds me less available he may make his feelings known if he has any for me. I am extremely tempted to just straight out ask him what's going on in his head, but am afraid this may truly make him disappear. Anyway, please help me! Everyone who knows him tells me that he is not the kind of guy who uses girls and vouches for his character. Any advices is sooo much appreciated!

Ok, your talking, and texting this guy. You total skip the courtship stage which is where you learn what he is all about. He doesn't take you out; you don't eat together and enjoy each other company. You think everything is going well and then you decide that you going to have sex with him.

After having sex twice he stop calling and stop texting and is awkward around you? Sex normally brings couples closer the keyword was couples clearly you never came to an agreement that you guys were a couple.

So technically you gave yourself to someone that you were interested in and you believed he was interested in you.

I'll be honest with you. I think he is not interested in actually dating you. As far as this assuming that he may be shy and may be scared to be involved in a relationship is a possibility but a small one at best.

Don't call him at all. And don't expect his call.

Take this as a lesson: If you want a boyfriend don't sleep with the guy until it's mutually agreed that this is what the relationship is going to be.

I assumed we were in a relationship when I had sex with him and am now quite sure that I was wrong.
If he is a good guy, then he is slowing things down, to know something other than your sex ability.
If he isn't such a good guy, he may be just checking you out every now, and then, to see if you want to share your sex ability with him again.

Did you learn anything from this??
