    100A 240v subpanel with #4 wire
Hello, I have a 200 Amps main panel and i will install a subpanel 100 feet apart to run my new swimming pool pump, sprinkler pump and garden lights (maybe some other appliances to aliviate load in a 60 Apms existing subpanel)
    Pumps will run in 220v.

I was told to put 2 #4 wires 1 #6 and 1 #8 on conduit pipe baried 1 feet underground.

    Will this cable work for me? Alcan Stabiloy # 4 AWG S- E- R 4 - WIRE ??

Also i was told to use a Murray panel 100 AMP.

Thanks for any help or advice you can provide.

Not in conduit it won't. Or buried either.
You need THWN conductors in conduit the WHOLE way since this is a feeder to a pool panel.

Pools are no place to mess around. Are you familiar with all the codes involved??

Thanks for your reply, I will do it with 3 #4 copper and 1 #6 inside 1" conduit as per my electrician advice.

    Thanks again.
