    Record video tapes to DVD
    How do I connect my VCR and DVD recorder to TV so that I can transfer all tapes to DVD?

    You don't NEED to connect it a TV, only if you want to monitor what you are recording. You have to connect an output from the VCR to a compatible input on the DVD. You can then either take another output from the VCR if available or from the DVD and run it to the TV.
