    Move video tapes to computer
How do I hook up my VCR to my computer so that I can download the contents to my hard drive so that I can make a DVD. Do I need a program to do this or just hardware?

Hi , You need a TV tuner card and with it comes the software to convert the tapes and record on your computer, play on your PC. But to play on regular DVD player you may need additional SW , usually comes with TV tuner card .
