    MTD Yardbug
    I have cooked two cutter drive belts in 48 hrs. The first belt was as old as the machine. The second belt, is more than likely my stupidity.

    What I need to know what is the adjustment for the drive engagement and how much tension is required. Diagrams will be helpful.

    Well, I think you may have a bearing in a pulley or spindle going bad, or a pulley is locked up due to such.
