I just came from the gyno (my second time there), and I feel like it was a big waste of time. I been having problems with my period lately. This is my third time being like a week late in the last six months,(finally get it and a few days after it ends I start bleeding again for like 3-4days). I was suppost to get my period the 8th, got it on the 14th of this month and might start bleeding again when done, like the 2 previous times. She just told me to call her, for my next months period. I saw her for like not even 5 minutes this time. I just think there is a reason why this is happening (has to be something), she finally mentioned birth control but said they don't prescribe through there? I always thought gyno's did? She said to try planned parenthood but I don't have the transportation to go all the way there every month and it's a hassle. I don't know what to do now... I thought she was going to do something and prescribe something, but nothing. *I am also in the process of reapplying for health insurance.

Any input I am just frustrated feels like the doctors is always a waste of time when I go! Thanks!

Hmm... yeah, that seems weird that your gyno doesn't prescribe it. I'd thought they did too. But I go to planned parenthood. I don't know if it's the same for all of them but at minei get a year's supply. So I only have to go in once a year unless I need anything else.
