How old is the kitty? Has he been checked and vaccinated by the vet for any parasites, diseases, etc. What kind of food are you feeding it?

If you just got the cat, it may be simply a matter of being new to your home, you, other cats if you have them, etc. I just got another cat recently and she hid under the bed for like three days and wouldn't eat much. And when she did eat, she was picky about what I gave her. At this point she's eating nearly anything I give her and eating heartily.

Of course, there could be something wrong also. Or... maybe she doesn't like the food you have. Have you tried different things?

It's been a few more days since you posted. Is she still not eating? If not, I would definitely get her to a vet. Cats can have serious issues when they go that long without eating. In the meantime, you might try something like meat baby food. Some cats will eat that when they won't eat anything else, and it's human-grade quality meat. Though it does not have the other nutrients they need and is not a permanent solution.

I've raised many kittens and the one thing they have never turned down is Carnation canned milk, room temperature. Also, Farina is another alternative. While these alone are more than likely not all the nutrition they might need, they may help get the kitten eating until you can find out of it has any medical problems. Or, until it becomes familiar with it's surroundings and settles down.
