Secure 2x4 frame to ceramic tile floor with adhesive (no nails)
I want to frame up a small reach-in closet in my bathroom (2x4's, drywall), but I have an obstacle: My ceramic tile floor covers cement board and a sub-floor with radiant heat/water-filled PEX.

The 5 foot length of closet will span one wall, with short sides. The back of this closet will be securely fastened to an existing wall and ceiling. However, can I secure the sill/floor 2 x4's with a strong adhesive? I don't want to risk nails of any size hitting the PEX.

Razor, if that's the one that comes out of the tube blue on one side and gray on the other side I agree 100%. Liquid nails will work too. Open this but before you do guess how many product Liquid Nails makes. Make.Liquid Nails - ProductListing
