I really like this guy and thought he liked me. We met up a few times and things were going well, I then unfortunately became ill and couldn't see him for a while but he was very patient and said he would wait until I was feeling better. My confidence was low and we eventually agreed to meet a few times but I put him off at the last minute. I contacted him last week asking him if he wanted to meet up he text me back saying yes at last but it's Wednesday now and I still haven't heard from him. Why hasn't he called, should I wait and hope he does call or should I call him.

Seeing as you had a history of blowing him off at the last minute, he sees no reason in setting up a date with you. If you want to see him, then call him and set up the date. Remember, he might expect you to blow him off again.

You only hung out with this guy a few times so don't expect much. When did you call him last week? What day? There could be many reasons he hasn't contacted you yet. Maybe he is busy or figures that he wanted to give you a couple extra days to redeem you'r health. If he said yes then my best bet is he means yes.

Wait until the end of the week and if he hasn't called you, call him and say "Hey I was wondering if you still wanted to get together..." Don't freak out and start accusing because that will lead him away.

Has no one ever heard of actually dialing the number and really just talking to him.

But since you asked if he would like to get together, he said yes, he now expects you to give him a time and place most likley and is most likely again thinking you decided not to meet.

Remember after one or two rejections ( cancelling at last min) most guys may just move on. So if you want to save this at all, call him and plan something
