    Teen Tired all the time
I have a 16 yr old and I am very concerned about her health. She is home schooled because she was getting migraines every 3 months and affecting her school success. Now that she is doing school work from home. She no longer is getting the migraines, but is continually tired, low grade fevers, dizzy, nauseated at times, has difficulty falling asleep at night. Will not take naps during the day because she is afraid of not sleeping at nights. I have set an appt with an OB/GYN doctor to see if it is hormone related and I want answers now as her appt is not for another month. I am also getting her into a PCP but do not have an appt yet as I am looking for one I trust. A friend recommended one which I will be calling Monday. I am giving her B complex as of yesterday in small doses until I see how she tolerates it. I am hoping others can tell me if any of their teens are suffering from the same type symptoms and what they did. Thanks, a very worried mom. :(

    Vitamin Bcomplex is good
You might also try Omega or flaxseed oil.
It sounds like it could be hormone related

It could be from things she eats or doesn't eat as well.
If she is eating a lot of stuff with preservatives and anything diet
Maybe a food allergy-which I think can affect hormones and metabolism-sluggishness and brain fog.
Also caffeine can give you sugar surges followed by migraines or tiredness.

I know when I use to be sluggish I couldn't sleep right.

Get her eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.
