    Installing shower diverter
    When I changed the washer on the stem and put it back in, it does not divert my water to the shower head anymore.

    Shut the water off and remove the diverter stem and washer assembly. Check for any trash that may be caught in the seat. Now turn the water back on to flush out the seat. You should have a full stream coming out. Reassemble and test. Good luck, Tom
