    1st offense
    My son has been charged with two felonies of burglaries its his first offense he is 18 they did not take anything but someone got stitches he is in jail without bail I just want to know what to expect:confused:

    Wow! So sorry to hear this. Wish I knew what to tell you. Does he have a lawyer? If he or you can't afford one, he can have one appointed to him. I hope he can learn his lesson with a minimal amt. of punishment. Good Luck.

    Burglary is defined differntly by each state, normally just the intent to take something or other wording is included. Also who got stitches and how, if this was a victim it can be a lot more seroius.

    As for bail, has he had his first hearing, normally bail will be assigned at that hearing. He needs an attorney.
