    Non retractable foreskin
Hello I'm 19 and have phimosis. I went to see my doctor the other week and he gave me some steroid cream. He also said to retract the foreskin have a bath and gently pull back. But the skin was still red and didn't go back much further than usual. I Noticed what seems to be a vein. It seems to look like it is attaching the head to the foreskin is this normal and will I need curcumcision. Advice would be most appreciated.

Yes the foreskin is attached to the glans when your younger but it should separate on it's own as you get older. I cannot say if this is the case but me personally I would do everything I could not to get circumcised. Circumcision will callus the penis and you will loose half of the feeling you have since the majority of the nerve endings are in the foreskin that gets amputated.
