    Service Cable size/characteristics
    Wish to run 100 amp service from a sub panel on the outside of my home to a pier where will have sub panel at end of pier. Also need to run 60 amp to another outside location.
    Cables will be buried. What type/size cable should be used.

    For short? Distances, #4 is good for 100 Amps, #6 is good for 60 Amps.
