    WI CC Lawsuits
    I have credit card debt collectors in WI threatening lawsuits if I do not pay. Can they really put a lien against my home? I oofered a settlemt of 50% (maybe too soon) and they refused now they won't budge and accept any offer. Any advice/suggestions... HELP?

    They may sue, get a judgement, they may garnish wages, attach bank accounts, and put liens on homes ( as last resort normally since they want money, not liens) Work out a payment plan with them in writing before they take you to court and add a lot of legal fees to this.
