    If we had a giant battery with an unlimited amount of amperage at 1.5v , what would be the process to turn this into 220 volts ac?

    You would have to have a dc to ac invertor. It would be sized according to your wattage if I remember correctly. That would do the dc to ac. For the voltage I think there is no way beside hooking batteries in series to get a higher voltage. I suppose you could invert the dc voltage and then run it through a transformer to get it to 220.
