    For back rent
    Hi me and my husdband are being sued for rent we had a one year lease but I found out I was pregnant and the hoouse we lived in was up stairs down stair and I am high risk my doc told me I can't walk up stairs now me and my husband sighned the lease but on the court papers it only says his name now will they stll accept my doc acuse or won't they since he is not sueing me??

    Well I am sorry and I hope the pregnancy has worked out fine.

    But this may not be a reason to break a lease if you did not noify your landlord of this and give them a chance to move you or make some other accominations.

    But it is most likely that they can sue him ( or both of you, but they can just sue him) And unless you tried to work this out with the landlord and they refused, I doubt the doctors note will do any good in court.

    We did we tried for a month and he never helped and thnk you this pregnancy is doing really good so far I am 25 weeks and no problems so far thank god because our last one was born at 27 weeks after a difficult pregnancy but he is also doing good
