Who invented indoor plumbing
I'm doing an assignment where I have to find out information about an invention created in the early 1900's, I chose indoor plumbing (don't say anything, it was the only interesting subject left). But I can't seem to find any good information on the internet, every time I search for information it comes up with the inventor of the toilet or the history of plumbing. I plan on including the history of plumbing but I need to find out who the inventor of indoor plumbing. If anyone can help, please do.

Search for plumbing under the Romans or you might search lead pipe, for that is what ruined the Roman empire, drinking water from lead pipes.

I know the romans invented indoor plumbing but I need to find information about the most recent type of indoor plumbing, pipes. I need to know about sewage, basically how the modern indoor plumbing works.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I've run into the same kind of problems when doing work in the sciences... internet can be a rats nest of info that isn't helpful.
Go to a library and talk to a person who works the reference desk. I've had a lot of success doing this, they are trained to help you and eager to, and really... as much as the internet is an incredible resource, there have been times when I've found the info I needed soooo much faster by talking to the person manning the reference desk.

All right. I went home and searched some stuff up. If you go to Bing and type in the effect indoor plumbing had on society, it tells you and gives you a lot of information. Also if you have an elder around you that was around when that happened, they are a really food source!!
