GE Select 11 cycle washer won't spin
I have a GE Select Washer, runs through all the cycles but won't spin, checked the belt, in good condition also checked to see if the motor is locked up, it is not, what could be the problem? Could it be the timing switch?

Have you tested the lid switch? It acts as a safety to keep unit from spinning with the lid up. If it goes bad, unit will not spin with lid down either
