    Basement bathroom installation.
I started on adding a bathroom in my basement and dug up the groung to the soil cast iron soil pipe. I cut the soil pipe and went back with pvc 40 under the concrete. Is this the correct way before I seal up the floor?

It depends on what fitting you came off the cast iron main to convert to PVC.
A wye or combination wye and eighth bend's acceptable. A sanitary tee is not. What fitting did you use? Regards, Tom
