I started on adding a bathroom in my basement and dug up the groung to the soil cast iron soil pipe. I cut the soil pipe and went back with pvc 40 under the concrete. Is this the correct way before I seal up the floor?

It depends on what fitting you came off the cast iron main to convert to PVC.Quote:

I put a pvc y piece between the cast iron and added my new 4" dain for the toilet, cleanout, and shower.
I'm looking for a vent in your post. Did you vent the shower? Will there be a lavatory in your group? Back to myou. Tom
