Civic won't start and fuel pump not priming
(1993 Civic Ex Coupe w/ single came V only 110,xxx miles) my fuel pump doesn't prime when I turn the key to its II position.I only hear one click from my relays but I don't know which relay is the one that's clicking.. it sounds like its coming from the glove box area but when I try to start my car my CEL ( Check Engine Light) comes on and stays lit for more then 2 seconds and the light won't come off and my fuel pump doesn't whirl or prime what ever you call it , my car just cranks but won't turn over.. my friend did spark plug test and found out I'm not getting any kind of spark at all.. he also tested the wires that's on top of the dizzy he told me that I have power going into my distributor but no power is coming back out.. I then check all my fuses under the hood and under the dash.. I manage to find couple of blown fuses and replaced them all thinking that would solve my problem.. (that didn't work). I went out bought new distributor , my car still cranks but won't turn over. I know its not my dizzy because I sold it to a guy and he put it on his car and it started right up.. I also checked my main relay that gray looking and big like a stack of gum box that's located under the driver side near the hood release latch bolted up by a 10mm.. I'm getting power all around my car but no power to my fuel pump.. is there any step by step how to test your fuel pump before I go out and waste money on getting something I don't need?. also something I didn't mention.. this all started back almost 3 months ago the car was working fine one morning I went out for a drive and came back and notice I had smoke coming out of my car I pulled over near my house opened up my hood and saw radiator fluid all over the engine and had a small crack on top of the radiator.. I waited for about hour and patch the crack with poxy glue.. when I go start the car all it does is crank and crank and more cranking... but won't turn over..

Sounds like the fuel pump went kersplat on you. If you do not hear the actual noise coming from the fuel pump itself like the noise you hear in the glove box... then it's the fuel pump. Had one go out on me and it was one of the kind that had the fuel pump actually IN the fuel tank. What a production that was to change. I don't know where you pump is located you'll have to check a repair manual for the location. The biz with the radiator had nothing to do with the fuel pump going out. The fact it is a 1993 says more about the probability that it's just given up the ghost due to age. After 10 years car parts just plumb wear out.
