Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to how I can fix this problem before I call the big dogs in. I was running a bath, and my on/off knob (which I pull out and the water runs) suddenly stopped the running of water. I can hear the build up of water there, but there is basically a trickle coming out and some small leaking from the actual knob itself. Any advice? Just a lot of audible pressure build up but just a trickle of water. And it just happened all of the sudden. More tid-bits (not that they may matter) all of my faucets in my house (2 of which run in the same bathroom with my shower) work perfectly fine. I live in an older condo complex and it snowed about 1 1/2 feet today. I don't think that really would make a difference, as it sounds like it is something basically clogging up my valves or blocking them.
I would love your comments if you have any... or if it is hopeless, let me know and I will call the pro's in.

Sounds like something is caught up behind the "pull-out" cartridge. Is it a trickle when you call for both hot and cold? Sounds like you need to 'flush' out the line.

If you can post a picture we can better help you pull the cartridge. Actually we can do it without a picture but its more difficult. Xeno is correct, debris is likely in the cartridge, its usually the hot side first to go.
