    Credit card lien! YIKES
    I opened a credit card with Capital One in 2002 and made purchases in the amount of $70.00 I didn't realize the fees that they charged and asked them to close the account. Now I found they have a lien against me for $1200. And when I called them today they said its now $1900.00 is there anything I can do to get that removed or reduced??

    What is the 800# type it in the search engine and you should get a site that has complaints about the credit collections agencies. They are saying they are an attorney when they aren't.
    I typed the one that called me in the search engine and that is how I found out about it.

    I think you should get a copy of your credit report while you are cleaning things up.
