    Credit and Co-signing
When co-signing for a motorcycle, can you have bad credit to co-sign? I have a friend who wants to buy a motorcycle, but he needs a co-signer because he's only 22 years old. I know I have some bad credit, but will it affect me co-signing for him?

You can co-sign but it's still up to the lender to approve.
Bear in mind, if your friend doesn't make the payments, the lender will pursue you.
    Be careful!

You can try, but normally they want someone with good credit. Plus you know if he does not pay for the motorcycle, they can make you pay for it.

If you already have bad credit why would you want to risk making it worse?
