    Car repossesion
    If a vehichle is ready for repossesion, will the repo man actually come to the door and would they come at about 11:30pm and ring your door bell??

    Nahhh. They'll just take the car. They certainly don't want to WARN you about what they're doing. They're going to sneak, of course. Some people shoot the repo man, you know.

    You can call and make an appointment if the lender is willing to do that; otherwise you will walk out of your house/job one day and the car will be gone!

    The advantage of making an appointment is you can request an inventory, photos and statement of any damage to the car before it gets towed, in the presence of either the lender's rep or the tow person. Sometimes the car gets damaged in transit, the CD player is "suddenly" missing, which ultimately costs you money so it's probably a good idea to protect yourself.
