I would like to buy a condo that does not have washer dryer hookups. What is the approximate cost to install? Maybe in the garage.

Without looking at it, we can only give a wild guess. You are going to need hot and cold water, a drain, a vent for it, electrical service, and if a gas dryer, gas. I would price both gas and electrical installation before buying the dryer. Depending where your electrical panel is and any gas line, one may be much cheaper to hook up. How close and how completely finished the walls are will make a big difference. Where do you live? Besides the cost of living, local codes can run up costs. Post back with more details, and maybe somebody will take a flyer at it.
