I don't understand, at all.
How come, my ex can move on with another girl, be quote "in love" and yet, I can't find a guy I want to spend my time with.
It was so easy for him. He went on a few dates, found a girl.
Me.. I've been on LOTS of dates, and none of these guys are meeting my standards.
I think I set them too high after "the breakup"
I'm ready to try again, and yet, every guy, just doesn't seem to be nearly as good as him, if not better.
How do I let my guard down?
&& how come I can't get over him & move on.
He seems quiet fine without me.helppp

Stop trying to control everything and just let go. Don't worry about him and in fact, don't even think about him. Try to remember who you were before you met him and try to be that person again. You work on yourself and be happy, because that's how you really let your guard down, and be comfortable with yourself. Who cares if he seems fine without you? My ex seems really happy and she's probably off doing promiscuous sh!t with someone else, but that doesn't affect me anymore. You should stop TRYING to find the perfect guy, stop trying to control everything and just simply let go.

Most likely he is happy with the next warm body with well female parts that he can paw over. That is often the male idea of love.
For you I am sure you have more emotional feelings to deal with

Hang in there! Just because he found someone doesn't mean it will even last. Don't lower your standards just because you want someone in your life. Hold out for a guy that meets your standards and you will be happier in the long run. Just focus on you right now, doing things you enjoy and going places you want to go. Stay busy and get out there, meet new people and all. Maybe you could take a class or start a new activity, or join a new club. It's a great way to meet people with common interests. Good luck!

After a break up, things just take time. It doesn't mean that you are doing anything wrong and htat your ex is doing it right, it just means that you need to keep looking. And whatever you do, don't lower your standards because if you do, you won't end up with your "right match"
