    Dvd hook up
    I have time warner hd cable, magnovox hd TV and a dvd/vcr recorder/player. How do I hook up these three units and record a TV program on dvd disk.

    Can you please supply photos of the backs of the units.

    The easiest way is to connect the Sat to the IN on the VCR to the IN on the TV,

    However, because of the plethora of connections available, I really need to see what's going on.

    Try using your video inputs or if you have one an hdmi input on the TV, hook up the hdmi or component video cables from the sat box to the TV, hook up the cable from the sat to the converter box, then another cable to the vcr for recording.
