A new rental agreement excluding pets
:rolleyes: My existing landlord wants me to sign a new rental agreement excluding pets, I have a dog and my previous agreement does not include or exclude pets. This is a month to month agreement so far I have refused to sign. What are my rights?

Hello carrie:
You have the right to live there for 30 days. If you don't receive notice to move at the end of that 30 days, you have the right to another 30 days. That's all. He can change the agreement every 30 days if he wishes. But he has to keep his new agreement for at least 30 days, and then he can change it again. excon |
