    Rental Agreement
My daughter was anxious to relocate & she gave a deposit & rent for a place that she had not seen the inside of. After being given the keys, she went to the duplex & discovered it was MUCH smaller then expected. She was not able to contact the manager the remainder of the weekend so on the 3rd business day she took in a notorized letter to exercise her "Right to Recision". The manager refused to accept it & refused a refund of money paid. Does she have the right to terminate & get her deposit & rent returned?

Did her lease give her a 3 day right to resend, I am sorry I have never seen this in any lease or rental agreement before?

If she signed a lease or rental agreement she is basically bound by those rules, if she made a poor judgment of not looking at it first, that is her error and she will learn from that mistake

Take the lady to small claims court. But did the daughter sign anything at all? That depends on a great deal. When a person pays for ads or some form of advertising they need to get some form of repayment back since it a business. The daughter may get some of it back, not all of it. But it depends on the contract if she signed one. If she didn't look at the inside of the apartment that is her fault and not the landlords-owner. They say ignorance is not above the law. She knew better. She should have looked at the inside of the apartment first.
