I need a new circuit board for my air conditioner. Repair people want to charge me $600 to get new board and install it. I have found a board for less than $200. How hard is it to change it myself? I am fairly handy with repairs and tools. How hard is it? David
Converting 15 anp circuit into 20 amp circuit

I just bought a treadmill. The problem is it doesn't work where I want it to. It can only run on 20 amps but all my outlets use 15 amps. It keeps tripping the breaker. Can I easily convert my outlet to a 20 amp?
Cost of changing circuit

I just read a thread about someone's microwave repeatedly tripping the circuit. I have the same problem. I plan to try the microwave on other outlets. If it turns out the microwave is OK, about how much $$ should I expect to pay for changing a circuit? FYI, I live in Chicago. Thanks!
