I am a sophomore in high school. Earlier this year I found out that my friend had a major crush on me. At first I didn't know what to say because I didn't feel the same way... so I said no to him. He took it really bad and was really sad and mad at me. I took my time to think and I have now chosen to give him a fair chance... he tells me that there's something about me that is just different from other girls and that he is sooo in love with me. I feel bad because I am not sure if I am going to be able to fall for him that deeply... im telling him to be patient with me... he says he's okay wit it and he respects me. I know he is a really good guy. We have never kissed and I think that he wants to. I do not even feel like going on a date with him and my friend tells me that I should. CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO... AND IF I DID THE WRONG THING IN BECOMING HIS GIRLFRIEND? Ok, I want to fall for him but at the same time I think I'm trying to use him to forget about the guy I trully like :(... and I feel so guilty.

You should feel guilty. This guy really likes you and you want to use him? That's not nice. You should just tell him that his feelings are much appreciated and very flattering, but you just are not interested in him that way. Leading him on will only make him feel worse in the long run. You cannot force yourself to like or love someone.
