    Dirty razor
    OK, this may sound stupid but I'm kind of freaked out. I was at work yesterday and I was cutting a box with a razor blade that everyone in my store uses and I cut myself. The problem? Just last week one of the other girls who works here also cut herself twice with it! Now this girl sleeps around (with guys and girls) and now I'm worried I may have caught something. Is this even possible? All I did was rinse the wound and bandage it. I didn't know what else to do. Can I catch something? I'm mostly worried about HIV. Im too embarrassed to ask a doctor in fear of sounding ignorant. Can anyone help??

    Don't worry. The diseases you are thinking about cannot live on an inanimate object for more than a couple of hours at most definitely NOT a week.

    Now, you also shouldn't make assumptions about this girl either. You don't know that she doesn't use protection.

    I think it advisable to research yourself, the possible disease(s) you fear getting.
    You will inform yourself and hopefully rid yourself of any fear and embarrassment.
