    Printer does not print
    I install printer and it does not work. I can't get it to print. It is a lexmark 640 . It is install right . I give up can you help me:confused:

    Tina, You might just as well tell me that the printer is broke. Please disconnect the printer from the PC at the printer side of the cable. Turn the printer on. Once the printer comes Ready, you should see a green LED on the front panel. I'd like you to press the "Menu" button and scroll down until you find the "Demo" submenu. Now I want you to print any demo page you find. If the printer completes the page, then the printer is fine, you have a communication failure from the PC to the printer. Also, I need you to explain what you mean by saying the printer is installed correctly, please. Has this printer ever worked before? If so, what changed between now and when it last worked?
